EPSON demonstrates low-cost on-ramp to the Information Superhighway via its new digital camera; PhotoPC easily transmits color pictures over the Internet

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 1996--Establishing its leadership position for the low-cost transmission and output of color pictures over the Internet, EPSON is demonstrating its newest product, the PhotoPC color digital camera, in conjunction with Prodigy Services Co. this week at the Consumer Electronics Show.

EPSON representatives will be available at Prodigy's booth No.16514 at the Sands Convention Center to profile the ease of use and superior quality of the PhotoPC and discuss its wide range of on-line applications.

With the revolutionary EPSON PhotoPC color digital camera, transmitting photographs on-line is quick and easy. In minutes, photos can be taken, downloaded to a computer and sent via Prodigy or any other on-line service or Internet access provider, inspiring a multitude of uses for work or play:
