Cyborg Systems continues ISO 9001 certification for its quality system; "Best of Class" client/server HRMS software developer passes second ISO surveillance audit since company was certified under ISO 9000 and TickIT in September 1994
Business Wire, Jan 9, 1996
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 1996--Cyborg Systems' commitment to providing the highest quality products and services has resulted in the continued ISO 9001 registration of its quality management system in the United States and United Kingdom.
ISO 9001 is the most comprehensive level of ISO 9000 certification. A recent surveillance audit by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Ltd. (LRQA) of Cyborg's U.S. operations, conducted at their Chicago headquarters, was once again a success. All assessed areas were judged to be in full compliance and no non-conformancies were registered.
"Our initial certification was certainly a milestone," said Gary Tarr, president of Cyborg Systems. "But now we are in our second year, both our customers and our entire organization are reaping the benefits from knowing and using this quality system."
Cyborg Systems' quality system is measured against the ISO 9001 Quality System standard with guidance from ISO 9000-3 and TickIT. TickIT is a certification program that guides registrars and their auditors in the assessment of quality systems in an Information Technology (IT) setting. It has a second purpose of stimulating developers to define quality and then find methods for how it can be achieved. Cyborg's adoption of a quality management system ensures that the organization continues to develop a quality product for customers.
"At Cyborg Systems, we define quality in terms of providing our clients with superior products and services that meet their requirements," said Mark Wiltgen, Cyborg Systems' U.S. quality manager. "Fundamental to this process is our commitment to continuous improvement and error prevention based on an atmosphere that fosters creativity, contribution, and a sense of accomplishment from all of our staff."
