Business Wire, Jan 9, 1996

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 1996--Commodore Cruise Line announced its Cajun Heritage Cruise -- a special red-hot cruise set to sail the turquoise waters of the Western Caribbean and Yucatan in August 1996.

The 729-passenger Enchanted Isle lends itself to the mystical history and flare of the Cajun traditions as the seven night cruise departs from its home port of New Orleans on Aug. 24.

Guests will be treated to the steel drum inspired sounds of Cajun bands while their eyes delight in the performance of traditional dance. The fun continues with lessons in culture, art and, of course, the infamous spicy cooking.

Destinations for the Cajun Heritage Cruise include Jamaica's Montego Bay, Mexico's Playa del Carmen and Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Rates begin at $498 per person, based on double occupancy.

Commodore passengers are encouraged to spend a night, either before or after their journey, in the Cajun city itself. A visit to New Orleans promises a multi-cultural experience filled with excitement, history, cool jazz and exceptional cuisine.

Arrangements for a one night stay in New Orleans can be made through Commodore Cruise Line at rates starting at $35 per person.
