SkyTel names Michael Lang vice president of marketing

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 1996--SkyTel Corp., a subsidiary of Mtel (NASDAQ: MTEL), today named Michael Lang as the company's new vice president of marketing.
Lang joins SkyTel from Sony Wireless Telecommunications Co., a division of Sony Electronics, where he was vice president and general manager of Sony/QUALCOMM CDMA sales, as well as vice president of marketing. Prior to these positions, Lang served as vice president of telecommunications products within the consumer products group of Sony.
