DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 1996--A letter from FIRSTPLUS FINANCIAL president and chief executive officer, Daniel T. Phillips, to FIRSTPLUS FINANCIAL employees, branch offices, correspondent lenders, and stockholders.

We have just finished the filming for FIRSTPLUS' newest television advertisements. They are starring our new national spokesperson, Miami Dolphins Star Quarterback Dan Marino. Dan will be featured in our advertising campaign to offer our products to consumers nationwide.

The new ads will debut on Saturday and Sunday, July 13th and 14th, during the NBC live broadcast of the 1996 Isuzu Celebrity Golf Championship played in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The broadcast is currently scheduled on NBC, Saturday between 4 and 6 p.m. (EST) and Sunday between 3 and 6 p.m. (EST). Please check your local listing for the exact broadcast time in your area. Four FIRSTPLUS ads will air during the broadcast.
