Internet Sales Force Automation Comes To The Web With TeleMagic Internet From Pentech Corporation

Business Wire, July 22, 1996

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 1996--Pentech Corporation, specialists in implementing sales force automation on the Internet, announced their new Internet software package for TeleMagic For Windows. TeleMagic Internet allows TeleMagic users to use the World Wide Web and Internet e-mail to contact customers while working within a customer's database record. In addition to e-mail and World Wide Web access, the software also supports high tech prospecting across the Internet by providing several different methods for searching and gathering critical business information.

TeleMagic Internet interfaces with "Best Of The Net" software already in common usage across the internet. It allows a user to send merged e-mail to customers using Eudora E-Mail, to view Web sites using Netscape Navigator, and it even allows a company with a Web site to automatically download information from it directly into their TeleMagic database system. This eliminates major expenses of data entry, CGI scripts, and Web server programming.

Michael Moore of Pentech says, "Since twenty percent of Internet users are employed in sales or customer service job functions, this software will be critical to them in their daily activities. With the incredible demand and growth of the Web, TeleMagic Internet is uniquely positioned to satisfy the needs of a large marketplace."

TeleMagic Internet interfaces to a host of popular Internet applications, including Netscape, Eudora, WS-FTP, WS-Archie, NetTerm, FreeAgent, mIRC, WS-Finger, HGopher, Adobe Acrobat, and the Alta Vista Search Engine.

Although TeleMagic Internet works great with Windows 95, it doesn't require Windows 95 to be installed. Since it uses proven software that is already familiar to eighty percent of Internet users, installation is easy, and new users are immediately productive.

TeleMagic Internet costs $75/user and comes with a 10 day free trial period. It is available for downloading from Pentech's homepage on the World Wide Web (http://www.pentech.net).
