Humanic Design Corp. announces Humanic HRMS 4.2
Business Wire, June 10, 1996
MAHWAH, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1996--Humanic Design Corp. Monday announced its new release Version 4.2 of the Humanic HRMS Human Resource System.
A 100 percent Oracle-based application, the system is built completely on the Oracle RDBMS with the latest version of Oracle development tools. This makes all aspects of the system non-proprietary, allowing for cost effective and efficient development, modification, customization, implementation and support.
The most significant enhancement included in this release is the ability to add personal custom defined workflow icons that make it easier to navigate through the HRMS.
"Now each user of Humanic HRMS can define their own personal workflow icons that allow them to determine how they wish to streamline their business processes and navigate throughout the system," said John Spirig, vice president of product management for Humanic Design.
"The use of these dynamic icons also permits direct access to several third party software products such as Word, Excel, BUSINESSOBJECTS, Organization Charts and other desktop analytical tools."
In addition to the personal workflow navigation, there are a number of enhancements that have been added to Humanic HRMS 4.2. New and enhanced modules such as FMLA, Disciplinary Action, ADA and Optional Data have been included along with other enhanced capabilities like Hot Key processing and multiple session capabilities.
As a result of being developed in Oracle, Humanic HRMS runs on virtually every hardware platform, operating system or network protocol, including PC networks, midrange UNIX platforms, and mainframes. It features an open graphical user interface (GUI) with client versions for MS Windows, Macintosh and other X-based Window GUIs.
Humanic HRMS 4.2 is currently in Beta and will be shipping in production quantities early in the third quarter of 1996.
