In the highly competitive "Best Development Software" category, the Emissary Host Publishing System from Attachmate(r) was named "Best of Show," beating out Visual SQL from Blue Sky Software and StarTeam Server 2.0 from StarBase. The BYTE magazine editorial staff selected the Best of Show awards from the hundreds of vendors exhibiting at PC EXPO '96 in New York City. The show had an estimated attendance of 130,000 this year.
