Voicetek Generations supported on Tandem Integrity server platform; Companies collaborate to leverage strengths in the worldwide telecommunications and network services markets

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 13, 1996--Voicetek Corporation announced today that its Generations and VTK voice processing solutions now supports the Integrity FT platform from Tandem Computers, Inc.
Integrity FT systems provide a standard UNIX operating system in a robust implementation -- with fault-tolerant hardware and networking and communications capabilities for critical 24 x 7 business operations.
By capitalizing on the functionality and performance of Voicetek's Generations and VTK voice processing solutions and Tandem's scalable and open client/server platform, the companies are collaborating to sell an enhanced- services platform that will provide innovative network services to RBOCs, Long Distance Carriers, Wireless entities, Personal Communication ventures, and Cable Companies.
