Encouraging trench results in Nevada

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4, 1996-- Fischer-Watt Gold Co. Inc.'s joint venture partner, Digger Resources Inc., has issued a news release following completion of its Phase 1 exploration program on a 3,200 acre gold exploration property in central Nevada.

Digger Resources is required to either spend $1.5 million over a five year period or complete a feasibility study to maintain it's 80 percent interest in the property. Fischer-Watt provides contract and consulting services to Digger Resources on their Nevada Joint Venture property.

Digger reports that the Phase 1 work program, which comprised 5,200 feet of trenching on its Southern Anomaly has outlined three mineralized zones along a 4,600 foot strike length and which remains open at both ends.
