Magic Software Enterprises announces Magic NT for Alpha and Intel platforms; also releases MS-SQL gateway; new offering brings high productivity RAD to NT Server

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 1996--Magic Software Enterprises (NASDAQ:MGICF), Wednesday announced its support of the Windows NT operating system for both Alpha and Intel platforms.
This offering strengthens Magic's cross-platform positioning and solidifies its position in partitioned, server-side rapid development and deployment. Magic will concurrently release a new gateway for Microsoft's SQL server, further extending the product's database independence.
Magic for NT is part of the Magic Version 6 server-based product line, and enables rapid, server-side development, deployment and background-mode processing capabilities. In addition to MS-SQL, Magic for NT will support gateways to Oracle, Informix and Btrieve. The Magic Alpha NT product completes the suite of offerings by Magic for the Digital Alpha platforms.

Magic for NT is available immediately and pricing begins at $6,460 for a double-user development system.
