SBE to Donate Remote Connectivity Products Today at Ygnacio Valley High School in Concord, CA; President Clinton Will Attend

SAN RAMON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 1996--SBE, Inc. (NASDAQ:SBEI), today announced support for NetDay96 by donating equipment to Ygnacio Valley High School in Concord, CA.
President Clinton and Vice President Al Gore will be on hand to celebrate NetDay96 and help lay cable and install computers.
Representing SBE will be Leif Johansson, hardware product engineering manager, and Jim Stork, technical publications manager. "SBE is excited to be involved in NetDay96. We feel strongly about the importance of bringing technology into education," commented Johansson. "SBE is providing remote connectivity products that will allow students and faculty to communicate on-line and access the Internet. Ygnacio Valley High School students and faculty will be able to access the school network from home over a telephone line."
SBE is committed to getting the School's network up and running during the next few months. The company also plans to support Ygnacio Valley High School on an ongoing basis through the Technical Support Department. The actual installation of two netXpand SoHo remote access routers will occur next week. SBE also plans to support other local schools in Contra Costa County.
