Crystal and Rockwell Form Strategic Partnership; Crystal Info to provide leading edge decision support for Rockwell's Total ReCall Reports

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1996-- Crystal, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seagate Technology, Inc. (NYSE:SEG) and Rockwell Switching Systems Division (SSD) today announced a strategic partnership for the development of management information software for call centers and the business enterprise.

Using key technologies in Crystal's new three-tier reporting system, Crystal Info, including powerful scheduling, security, information sharing and smart processing, Rockwell's newest reporting software, Total ReCall Reports provides timely, secure and open access to information throughout the enterprise. Total ReCall Reports allows users to access call center data stored in Rockwell's open data repository, InfoServer. In addition, with Total ReCall Reports and Crystal Info, other Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) points can be accessed to create custom reports for specific enterprise information needs.
