Tandem Resources reports a sampling and geological crew on its Indonesian joint venture concession in Central Kalimantan

TORONTO, Ont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1996-- Tandem Resources Ltd. ("Tandem') reports that a sampling and geological crew has been on its Indonesia joint venture concession in Central Kalimantan for the past week. Crews will be on the Makaham River concession in East Kalimantan in one week. As reported previously, Tandem has a 30% interest in the concession in Central Kalimantan and a 25% interest in each of the other two concessions. Bresea Resources Ltd. and Diadem Resources Ltd. are partners in all the concessions, while Bre-X Minerals, headed by chief geologist John Folderhoff, is the operator.
Gold values are known to occur on the Central Kalimantan concession as it was previously high graded by the local natives. Geology is similar to that at the Busang discovery being drilled by Bre-X Minerals, Soil or silt anomalies have been located in East Kalimantan near the Makaham River.
