Citadel Computer Systems Partners with MindShare for Exclusive VAR Development Program

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 1996--Citadel Computer Systems (OTC: NOFF), an industry leader of network security software, signed an agreement with MindShare Associates of Utah to be part of an exclusive VAR Development Program to introduce its product line to 3,000 plus resellers.
MindShare will introduce Citadel's product line and educate computer consultants, system integrators and resellers of computer products through training sessions. MindShare expects to host in excess of 800 training sessions over the next seven months.
Additional companies invited into this exclusive program are Symantec, Mustang Software and Caldera.

Steven Solomon, chief operating officer for Citadel, said, "We are excited to be partnering with MindShare and to be associated with a company of this caliber."
The program focuses on the current 16,000 Novell reseller base. MindShare projects by the end of '96 Citadel will have in excess of 500 new resellers handling their products.
Greg Mower, western area account executive for MindShare, said the NetWare support capability of Citadel's products will pull strong interest from resellers during the 500 VAR (Value Added Resellers) training sessions his company will be conducting.
"We were looking for applicable and emerging technologies that provide immediate and beneficial solutions for Novell users," Mower said. "Citadel is a leader in fulfilling that need. For the price, its software provides the best value for users."
Products to be promoted from Citadel include the company's flagship product, NetOFF, the only automatic logoff tool that saves open, unsaved files and prevents logoffs during data transfers and Server Sentry, the first network monitoring system that immediately reboots file servers and documents the cause of a system crash.
