Glasgal announces CASI pilot program for Kaiser Permanente

NORTHVALE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 28, 1996--Glasgal announced today that Computer-Aided Software Integration Inc. (CASI) has recently entered into an agreement with SAIC, of San Diego to pilot CASI's updated version of the Configurator(TM) including support for Windows NT(TM) and Windows 95(TM) servers and desktop systems for Kaiser Permanente, located in Walnut Creek, Calif., to automate the distribution and configuration of software for 200 workstations in a proposed 25,000 workstation system deployment.

If successful, the 200 workstation configuration pilot will generate approximately $40,000 of revenue. CASI is hopeful that if the pilot is successful the Configurator(TM) will be used for the 25,000 workstation deployment.

The Configurator(TM) is one of several products within CASI's suite of integration tools known as the Integrator's Workbench Product Series(TM). The Configurator(TM) provides an automated platform for system design, production, deployment, and support of enterprise configurations of information systems. By encouraging the best practices for deployment, the Configurator(TM) significantly reduces the time, cost and risk of failure of systems integration.

CASI, a subsidiary of Glasgal Communications Inc., develops and licenses a suite of system engineering software tools collectively known as the Integrator's Workbench Product Series(TM).
