Puma Technology, Inc. Announces Filing of Initial Public Offering of 3,000,000 Shares of Common Stock

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 1996--Puma Technology, Inc. today announced that it has recently filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of 3,000,000 shares of Common Stock, including 2,500,000 shares from the Company and 500,000 shares from the Selling Stockholders. The Company has granted to the Underwriters an option to purchase up to 450,000 additional shares from the Company for the purpose of covering over-allotments, if any. The offering price is expected to be between $8 and $10 per share. Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Alex Brown & Sons Incorporated are acting as co-managers of the proposed underwriting group.
Puma Technology, Inc. develops, markets, and supports mobile data exchange software which allows users to easily access, exchange and synchronize information stored on a variety of different devices, including notebook and handheld computers, personal electronic organizers, smart phones and smart pagers.
