OneWave Implements RSA to Provide Security for Internet Applications

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 1996--RSA Data Security, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Security Dynamic Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SDTI), today announced that OneWave, Inc. (NASDAQ: OWAV), a leading provider of Web-enabling software solutions for business, has incorporated the functionality of RSA's encryption technology into its software products.
OneWave software products enable companies to integrate and extend their existing systems to new business audiences over the Internet or corporate intranets. Through the use of built-in RSA encryption technology, OneWave's customers can now provide their suppliers, distributors, partners and employees with secure access to strategic business applications and data from virtually anywhere in the world.

OneWave Enterprise and Extensions enable companies to quickly Web-enable multiple ERP package applications, such as SAP and PeopleSoft, as well as legacy systems and databases. OneWave's Application Integration Server provides a single, scaleable access point to multiple systems from Web interfaces such as Java applets and ActiveX controls. The Application Integration Server is backed by RSA's technology and RC4 encryption with 40-bit keys for secure Internet communications.

BSAFE includes modules for popular encryption techniques, such as RSA, DES, RC2, and RC4, and also supports digital signatures and certificates.
