Digital Courier Amends Preliminary Prospectus

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 1996--Digital Courier Inte (Alberta Stock Exchange DIC.) Digital Courier International Corporation ("Digital Courier") announced today that it has filed an Amended and Restated Preliminary Prospectus with Canadian securities regulatory authorities in connection with the common share offering announed in June, 1996.

Under the amended offering, only treasury shares of Digital Courier are being offered. The number of shares to be issued and the issue price has not yet been determined. The offering, which is being underwritten by CIBC Wood Gundy Securities Inc. and RBC Dominion Securities Inc., is scheduled for completion in December, 1996.

The common shares are not being registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933. Digital Courier has withdrawn the registration statement previously filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in June, 1996.
