CIC announces new handwriting recognition software for Microsoft Windows CE platform

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1996--Communication Intelligence Corporation (NASDAQ: CICI) (CIC) today announced Jot, a new handwriting recognition system optimized for the new Microsoft Windows CE operating system platform.
Jot is a user-independent handwriting recognition system coupled with a patented user interface designed to meet specific needs associated with entering handwritten information on handheld computer devices. CIC intends to license this software to manufacturers that use the Microsoft Windows CE platform.

When using these devices many situations occur which create the need for easy single-handed input.
