Renaissance Energy Ltd. Announces Closing of Offering of 8 Million Common Shares

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1996--(TSE, ME RES.) Renaissance Energy Ltd. announces that it has closed the offering of 8,000,000 common shares at a price of $39.50 per share. Renaissance intends to use the net proceeds of $303 million to expand its capital spending in the fourth quarter of 1996 and in 1997.
