Business Wire, Oct 3, 1996
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 1996--PAR Microsystems Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corp. (NYSE: PTC), today announced that it has received the International Standards Organization's (ISO) 9001 certification from TUV Essen, an internationally recognized ISO registrar with more than 125 years experience in safety testing and certification.
The ISO 9001 standards are the most comprehensive quality standards category covering design, manufacturing and service. They are widely recognized throughout the European Community (EC), where they originated, and in 57 other nations around the world, including the United States. Roger McReynolds, Director Total Quality Management, commented, "ISO 9001 does not just say you have good products. It is an indication of how PAR does business. It tells our customers around the world that PAR has extremely efficient procedures and processes in place as well as built in methods to continually refine and improve those processes that create our excellent products."
