South Florida business development firm writes winning $300 M contract proposal document

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 1996--On Oct. 25, 1996 the United States Air Force announced the award of a contract to provide Contractor Logistic Support to the government's fleet of C-26 aircraft.

The successful bidder was Fairchild Aircraft of San Antonio, Texas in a proposal document written and prepared in collaboration between Fairchild and G2 Resources Inc. of North Palm Beach, Fla. The C-26 aircraft, manufactured in San Antonio by Fairchild, is widely used by the U.S. Army, the Air National Guard and the DELA for executive transport and drug interdiction missions. The contract, expected to be worth $300 million, is for five years with a start date of Nov. 1, 1996.
