"Egor" 3.0 Creates New Animation Abilities

DONCASTER, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 1996--Sausage Software, creators of the HotDog Web Editor, today released Version 3 of their widely-acclaimed "Egor," the world's first commercial Java applet.
"Egor" allows users to bring a web page to life with animation and sound.
Egor Version 3 combines the most popular features of previous versions and many new, advanced features suitable for power users.
New features of Egor Version 3 include: the ability to run multiple animations within one applet; events when animations collide; animated .gif import and export; progressive animation; built in previewer; a control panel visible on the user's Web page; an auto-upload function and much more.
The program is a 32 bit application suitable for use on Win 95 and NT. To view the animations created by Egor Version 3, users will need a Java enabled browser such as Netscape or Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3.0. Users need no knowledge of HTML or Java, as the well-designed front end makes bringing Web pages to life easier and more fun than ever before.

Egor Version 3 is shipped with a number of sample animations and sound effects created by Sausage Software which can be put into a Web page to instantly spruce it up.
Egor Version 3 has received excellent reviews from the Internet community. It was given a five-cow rating by Tucows, a comprehensive collection of Windows software available on the Internet, and has been included in the top ten list of all animation editors that can be downloaded from the Internet.
Egor Version 3 is priced at US$99.95 and AUD$129.95. Users of the current version of Egor can purchase an upgrade for US$30.00 and AUD$37.50. It is available on a free 14-day trial (or until you wish to upload material) and can be downloaded and purchased from the Sausage Software site on the Internet at http://www.sausage.com.
