Commenting on the web site, Warren E. Pinckert II, president and chief executive officer of Cholestech Corp. said, "We feel that the internet is the next logical step for allowing the medical and financial communities as well as the general public greater access to the company. There is a vast and growing number of people out there who regularly use their computers and the internet as a business and informational resource."

The Cholestech home page can be downloaded in about 20 seconds and at the present time the various pages within it load just as quickly. As the site expands over time, any pages that will take longer than a few seconds to download will be labeled so that visitors to the site will know beforehand how long it will take to access this information."
Visitors to the Cholestech website can currently download background information on the company and its markets; the products and services offered by Cholestech; investor information, including recent press releases, financials and stock quotes; and Cholestech employment opportunities.
The website will be updated on a regular basis and expanded as additional information of interest becomes available. It is presently indexed on several of the major search engines with more to be added in the next few weeks.
