Hudson General announces promotion of officers

GREAT NECK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 1996--Hudson General Corp. (the Corporation) announced that its Board of Directors has elected Michael Rubin to the position of president of the Corporation.
Jay B. Langner continues to serve as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. In addition, Paul R. Pollack was elected president, and Raymond J. Rieder was elected executive vice president of Hudson General LLC, the Corporation's 74 percent owned subsidiary which provides various services at airports throughout the United States and Canada.
Rubin previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Corporation. He will continue to serve as the Corporation's principal financial officer. Rubin is a Certified Public Accountant with an M.S. in taxation and has been with the Corporation since 1971.
Pollack, a Certified Public Accountant, is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Corporation. He has been with the Corporation since 1968.
Rieder is senior vice president and chief marketing officer of the Corporation and has been with the Corporation since 1967.
In addition to the aviation services provided by Hudson General LLC, the Corporation is a participant in a joint venture to develop 4,000 acres of land in Hawaii.
Hudson General Corp. shares are traded on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol HGC.
