Infonet is first global service provider to receive ISO 9002 registration for its global network services operations

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 1996--Infonet Services Corp., the world's leading network solutions provider, Tuesday announced it has successfully completed ISO 9002 Registration for its network services operations in Tokyo, Brussels and London.

As newly registered ISO 9002 operations, these offices which serve large Infonet client bases in Europe and Asia now join Infonet's El Segundo operations in quality system registration.

This announcement follows Infonet's statement in April of this year that it was the first value-added global telecommunications provider to receive ISO 9002 quality system registration for its network services operations at its El Segundo headquarters.

Certification of Infonet's network operations in Tokyo, Brussels and London was completed by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), a prestigious Quality System registrar. The registration was accredited by the Dutch Council for Certification (RvA).

Having completed Global ISO 9002 registration for El Segundo, Tokyo, London, and Brussels, Infonet is now moving to expand ISO registration to encompass additional areas of its business operations.
