Anglo Minerals Option Expires of Land in Nevada

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 1996--ANGLO MINERALS LTD.(Alberta Stock Exchange:ALM) Mr. Todd Montgomery, President and CEO of Anglo Minerals would like to state that the option to purchase certain lands in Nevada has expired.
Anglo is still negotiating with the ranchers for future purchase but because of summer market conditions the funds were not raised to fulfil the purchase arrangement.
Anglo is still involved in Nevada and will concentrate its efforts on the Crescent State Bank Property adjoining Cornucopia's Mineral Ridge Mine. Cornucopia has recently raised $22.5 million U.S. for mine construction which will only be one quarter of a mile away form the Anglo Prism Joint Venture Project.
