Hitachi Automotive Products - USA - names Nowak executive VP and GM

DETROIT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 1996--Hitachi Automotive Products (USA), Inc. today announced that it has named Victor Nowak executive vice president and general manager. Mr. Nowak has also been named to the board of directors.
Mr. Nowak will be responsible for the Detroit office of Hitachi Automotive Products (USA), Inc. In this role, he will head up sales and marketing for the company as well as the Technical Center that currently provides automotive engineering, design and development support. Mr. Nowak, currently senior director of sales and marketing at Hitachi Automotive (USA), Inc. has been with Hitachi 13 years.

"Hitachi is the leader in the development and manufacture of automotive electronic systems and components in the powertrain, vehicle multiplexing, communications and information areas. Hitachi Automotive Products (USA), Inc., a subsidiary of Hitachi America, Ltd., markets and manufactures a wide range of automotive products, including air flow meters, throttle bodies, engine and transmission control modules, electronic throttle control systems, alternators, ignition coils and idle speed control valves. The plant recently started manufacturing a sensing diagnostic module for electronic air bag systems.
Hitachi's Technical Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan provides engineering, design and development support. To date, it has developed high-quality sensors and control units that are used to reduce car emissions and increase fuel economy while also meeting government diagnostic regulations.
