(NASDAQ, EBB: FIXC) announced that Fix-Corp International Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase a 51 percent interest in Fix-Sports Inc. (an Ohio Corporation).
Fix-Sports Inc. is headed by Raymond C. Whitaker Jr. Whitaker is the past president and CEO of Steele's Holding Co., a leading softball equipment supplier. Fix-Sports Inc. is a marketing and sales company. Fix-Sports Inc. specializes in the marketing and sales of customized athletic shoes with team colors, logos and mascots, to schools, organizations and business. In the school market these shoes are used for the much needed fund raising purpose, in the corporate market the shoes are either sold or used as promotional gifts. Fix-Sports Inc. will market their shoe program nationwide and anticipate a strong response in the multi-billion dollar athletic shoe business.
Fix-Corp International Inc. is a specialized factory company, concentrates on financing "sold" purchase orders for customers in wholesaling, distribution and manufacturing.
