Boole & Babbage MainView Products Offer Same-day Support for IBM OS/390 V1.3; Only Solutions Available to Concurrently Support Both Parallel Sysplex and Traditional Mainframes

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1997--Boole & Babbage, Inc. (NASDAQ:BOOL), the leader in end-to-end availability management for the enterprise, today announced that its MainView performance management and automation solution provides Day One Support for IBM(a) OS/390 Version 1.3, made available recently by IBM.
MainView products supporting OS/390 releases 1, 2 and 3 include CMF MONITOR 5.2.2, MainView for MVS 2.4, AutoOPERATOR 4.1 and MainView Desktop 1.3.2.
MainView products are the only fully integrated systems management tools available today that offer concurrent support for Parallel Sysplex and traditional mainframe environments, as well as multiple subsystem releases.
