Kevin O'Reilly Joins Bear Stearns As Senior Managing Director In Equity Capital Markets

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 1997--Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. announced today that Kevin O'Reilly has joined the firm as a senior managing director in the Equity Capital Markets Group, reporting to Victor Cohn, senior managing director and head of the Group.

Mr. O'Reilly comes to Bear Stearns from UBS Securities where he was a managing director and global head of Equity Capital Markets. Previously he was with Salomon Brothers from 1979 to 1992, where he was a director in the Equity Capital Markets Group. Before beginning his career in investment banking, Mr. O'Reilly was a staff attorney in the Division of Corporation Finance, at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. O'Reilly holds a BA from Rutgers College and a JD from Rutgers Law School.

The Equity Capital Markets Group, a joint venture between the Investment Banking and Institutional Equities Divisions, integrates equity product origination with equity research and distribution.
