Stanley J. Meresman joins D2K board of directors; Silicon Graphics vice president of finance lends expertise for next level of company growth

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 1997--D2K Incorporated, a provider of end-to-end knowledge distribution solutions, has announced the appointment of Stanley J. Meresman to its board of directors.

Meresman serves as senior vice president, finance and Chief Financial Officer of Silicon Graphics, Inc. (Mountain View, Calif.; NYSE:SGI).

In announcing the appointment of Meresman, Edward Young, D2K president and CEO stated, "We are very excited to have Stan join our board of directors. Meresman holds an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from University of California, Berkeley. Meresman has previously been President of the Board of the Financial Executives Institute, Santa Clara Valley Chapter and Chair of the Board of Family Services, Mid-Peninsula, Palo Alto. He currently serves as Board Treasurer of Castilleja School in Palo Alto. Meresman is a member of the Board of Directors of Polycom, Inc., a public company traded on the NASDAQ.
