Raytheon selects Signal Technology as high power amplifier supplier for T3 H Transportable Tactical Satellite Communications Terminals

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 1997--Signal Technology Corporation (AMEX: STZ) announced today that it has been selected by Raytheon as supplier of high power amplifiers (HPA's) for T3 (H) Transportable Tactical Satellite Communications Terminals.
Initial contract of $522,000 was awarded for production of HPA's for Raytheon's terminal prototypes.
Follow on orders could amount to over $17.0 million, assuming Raytheon receives total production and spares orders from the U.S. Army's Communication Electronics Command (CECOM). There is also the possibility of additional orders to satisfy Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) and U.S. Marine Corps requirements.
