Wireless Telecom Group Inc. announces stock repurchase program

PARAMUS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 1997--Wireless Telecom Group Inc. (AMEX:WTT), today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to $1 million of its common shares from time to time in the open market.
Commenting on the announcement, Gary Simonyan, Chairman said, "The Board's implementation of a stock repurchase program reflects our continued confidence in the Company, our management team and our long-term growth prospects. We view Wireless Telecom Group's shares to be an undervalued investment opportunity given the company's outstanding financial performance." He added, "The repurchase program will have no effect on our quarterly dividend policy."
Wireless Telecom Group is a leading global provider of test equipment for the wireless telecommunications industry. Its products are used to test the performance and capability of satellite, cellular and personal (PCS) communications, radio, radar, wireless local area network (WLAN), high-definition television (HDTV) and other communications systems.
