OPTi shareholder class action suit dismissed

MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 1997--OPTi Inc. (NASDAQ:OPTI) announced today that on March 28, 1997, the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California entered an order granting the defendants' motion to dismiss the Securities Class Action suit brought against OPTi in September 1995.
The motion to dismiss was granted by Judge Saundra Brown Armstrong and was with prejudice and without leave to amend.
