Princess Cruises concludes discussions with Florida Attorney General's office

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 1997--Princess Cruises Tuesday announced that it has concluded its discussions with the Florida Attorney General's office concerning the outstanding cruise industry port charges investigation, and has entered into an agreement with that office.
Under the agreement, Princess has made a contribution of $85,000 to the cost of the Attorney General's investigation and has admitted no liability or wrongdoing.
"We are pleased to have completed our discussions with the Attorney General's office, and will be making the necessary amendments to our advertising by June 1, 1997," said Peter Ratcliffe, president of Princess Cruises.
