MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 9, 1997--OPTi Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:OPTI) announced a correction to its April 2, 1997 release regarding its new Vendetta Pentium single chip core logic product with integrated audio.
The press release should be amended to state that volume shipments are anticipated to begin in the summer of 1997, not starting Q1'97 as previously indicated.
OPTi Inc., a leading independent volume supplier of multimedia chipsets to the personal computer market is headquartered in Milpitas. The company's customers include many of the major PC OEMs in the world. OPTi stock is traded on the National Market System under NASDAQ symbol OPTI.
