Rhondalee Rohleder, Leading Programmable Logic Industry Analyst, Joins QuickLogic; PLD Authority Becomes Director of Strategic Marketing at Industry's Fastest Growing Semiconductor Company

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 11, 1997--QuickLogic Corporation announced today that Rhondalee Rohleder, noted industry analyst and columnist from the renowned Pace Technologies, a PLD (Programmable Logic Device) market research and consulting firm, has joined the company.
Rohleder, who has extensive background in analyzing and forecasting trends and products in the PLD/FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) market place, is assuming the role of director of strategic marketing.

Rohleder left Pace Technologies, the leading programmable logic device (PLD) market research and consulting firm, to join QuickLogic. She founded Pace Technologies in 1994 and ran the company as president. While operating Pace, she achieved one hundred percent market penetration in the PLD sector, was a highly respected industry expert, was widely published in industry trade publications and asked to speak at many highly visible industry events. Pace Technologies also has clients in other sectors of the market including ASIC, EDA and OEM manufacturing companies. Rohleder will make a separate announcement soon regarding the disposition of her company.
Rohleder has over a decade of experience in the semiconductor industry. Before founding Pace Technologies, she was director of ASIC & EDA services and senior analyst of programmable logic at In-Stat. Prior to that, she was product marketing engineer/specialist for Motorola's ASIC Division. While at Motorola, she also held various engineering support positions. Previous to that, she worked in various roles in the telecommunications industry. Rohleder received a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Pittsburgh, and pursued graduate studies in finance at the University of Phoenix, AZ
