LA Vision Announces Dazzle and Snazzi Personal Video Solutions; The First Products To Let Mainstream Computer Users Capture Snapshots and Video, Send Them Over the Internet, And Use Them In Their Favorite Applications

LA Vision has forged strategic partnerships with C-Cube (NASDAQ:CUBE) and Digital Equipment Corp. (NYSE:DEC). Under the partnerships the companies have supplied LA Vision with video compression technology which has been incorporated into Snazzi (DEC) and Dazzle (C-Cube).
Dazzle's suggested retail price is $299 and Snazzi is listed for $399. Both products will be available through a broad network of computer retailers across the United States through popular computer catalogs and via the Internet. Snazzi is currently shipping and Dazzle will begin shipping on September 1st.
LA Vision, a privately-held company with headquarters in Hayward, develops and markets personal video computing products that let the mainstream user quickly and easily capture, transform and communicate digital still and video images. The company's products Dazzle and Snazzi are based on the MPEG-1 standard which provides the highest quality images and allows for seamless integration of stills and videos into popular Windows applications.
