Business Objects Announces Continued Growth of Indirect Channels; Signs New Partners; More than 500 Partners Worldwide that Package, Resell, and Service Business Objects Suite of Decision Support Tools

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1997--Business Objects (NASDAQ:BOBJY), the world's leading provider of integrated enterprise decision support tools, today announced that it has added more than 50 new partners since the beginning of 1997, increasing its program to over 500 partners worldwide.
Indirect sales for the company grew to approximately 35% in the first half of 1997.
