Hummingbird Chooses Innotech's Java Search Engine Technology for Integration into its Intranet Document Publishing Solutions

NORTH YORK, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 25, 1997-- Innotech Multimedia (VSE ITM. ) Innotech Multimedia Corporation (VSE - "ITM") announces today that Hummingbird Communications Ltd. (TSE - "HUM" and NASDAQ - "HUMCF") has licensed Innotech's 100 percent Pure Java (TM) search engine technology, NetResults (TM), to be integrated into Common Ground 4.0, Hummingbird's new Java-powered intranet publishing solutions.
Innotech's NetResults is the only search engine designed for websites and intranets which is written entirely in Java and carries Sun Microsystems, Inc.'s 100 percent Pure Java certification.
