Tice® Technology Inc., Developer of New Generation of Sewing Machines, Announced its Shares Commenced Trading Today

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 1997--Tice Technology Inc. (OBB:TICE) announced its Common Shares and Common Stock Purchase Warrants commenced trading today over-the-counter on the electronic bulletin board.
The trading symbols for the Common Stock and Warrants are TICE and TICEW, respectively. The market maker is Public Securities of Spokane, Wash. (PBLC).
Tice Technology Inc. is a Delaware corporation that was formed in 1996. In 1997 it acquired all of the outstanding stock of Tice Engineering and Sales(R) Inc. in exchange for Tice Technology stock. Tice Engineering and Sales Inc. thus became a wholly owned subsidiary of Tice Technology and is currently the public entity's only source of business operations.
Tice Engineering and Sales Inc., founded in 1964, develops sewing equipment, including a new, electronically geared sewing machine that the industry has credited as the greatest technological advance in 160 years. Sewing machines with Tice technology inside use a computer and servo motors, eliminating 90 percent of the mechanical parts of conventional machines. It speeds production up to 500 percent.
Tice recently granted Brother Industries Ltd. of Nagoya, Japan a non-exclusive license to develop products incorporating Tice's electronic gearing technology. Under the terms of this agreement, Tice is entitled to receive up to $6,000,000 in license fees and two percent of net sales from Brother.
