Rainmaker Delists From the Montreal Exchange

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 1997-- Rainmaker Digital Pi(TSE:RNK.) (ME:RNK.) Rainmaker Digital Pictures Corp. (the "Company") announces that the common shares of the Company ("RNK") will no longer be listed for trading on the Montreal Exchange effective the close of business on December 19, 1997. The Company's common shares will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "RNK". The Company believes that the consolidation of trading for its common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange will result in both increased liquidity as well as more effective stock trading patterns.

Rainmaker Digital Pictures Corp. operates digital visual effects and post-production facilities in Vancouver, BC, and Los Angeles, California, providing a range of image processing services to producers of feature films, television and new media.
