Iterated Systems Announces ClearVideo 1.2

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 1997--Iterated Systems, the leader in developing video and still image products and technology for network publishing and other digital media, announced today that it is upgrading its flagship product, ClearVideo, to provide compatibility with Progressive Networks' new streaming video product, RealVideo. With this announcement, ClearVideo now supports all of the major video delivery platforms; HTTP (using QuickTime and Video for Windows) and Internet streaming (using RealVideo).

Video compressed with ClearVideo 1.2 can be easily converted from QuickTime and AVI files to RealVideo files without re-compressing, by using tools provided in RealVideo and ClearVideo 2.0.
