Tivoli receives purchase order exceeding $1 million from City Lighting; to supply lighting displays for 5,000 retail stores of national chain; largest purchase order in company history

SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 1997--Tivoli Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:TVLI) Tuesday announced that it has received a purchase order, valued in excess of $1 million to provide specialty display lighting to more than 5,000 stores of a nationally recognized retail chain.
The order came from St. Louis-based City Lighting Products Co., one of the largest distributors of specialty lighting products to commercial and industrial establishments in the United States.
According to the announcement by Tivoli President and Chief Executive Officer Terrence C. Walsh, production has already begun and the order is expected to be filled in the company's second and third fiscal quarters, ending March 31, 1997 and June 30, 1997, respectively. Walsh added that gross profit margins to be realized from the order are anticipated to be within the company's traditional range.
