WaveWatcher TV-PCI From AITech Delivers Full-Featured Multimedia/Web Authoring; Powerful Image Capture Card And TV Tuner In Easy-To-Use Package

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 1997--AITech International, the world leader in scan conversion and desktop video technology, today announced the release of the WaveWatcher TV-PCI, a high performance video capture card that provides easy-to-use tools for full-motion video capture, single- frame image capture, audio capture (requires sound card), and a built-in TV tuner.
The package includes video editing software and an intuitive user interface that makes video capture and display easy. The WaveWatcher TV-PCI will be available March 30 at select retail outlets and through distribution and retail channels. The suggested retail price is $199.00, with an expected street price of $169.00.

The WaveWatcherTV-PCI supports up to 1600 x 1200 resolution, as well as 16-, 24-, or 32-bit RGB color. It can capture full-motion, full screen video up to 60 fields per second in true color. It is plug & play compatible, and requires no jumpers, IRQ settings or feature connectors. It supports NTSC, PAL, and SECAM broadcast standards. With an internal sound card (not included), WaveWatcher TV-PCI can achieve up to CD-quality audio capture. The WaveWatcher TV-PCI also includes a 99-channel cable-ready TV tuner with RF, RCA, and S-Video inputs.
