EMB Corp. goes on-line with Coldwell Banker's The Home Mortgage Network

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 1997--EMB Corp. (OTC/BB:EMBU) and its wholly-owned subsidiary EMB Mortgage Corp., on Tuesday announced that they have become an approved lender for The Home Mortgage Network, which is the national in-house mortgage lender for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Services, owned by HFS.

EMB Mortgage has available through Imperial Credit Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ICII) a new "Express Loan" product of 90 percent loan to value up to $400,000, and 80 percent up to $500,000. This loan is generated from a one page loan application, with no verification of income, assets or tax returns, and is based on a person's credit and FICO score.

The Home Mortgage Network stated: "We service approximately 230 Coldwell Banker offices nationwide which presently generate more than $100 million in new loans per month. We are excited about the new Express Loan product that is initially going to be made available to all our Coldwell Banker clients in California, with a national roll-out at a later date."
