Features concurrent 10BASE-T LAN and V.34 faxmodem capability
Zoom Telephonics, a leading manufacturer of computer communications equipment, is now shipping the Zoom/PC Card LAN/FaxModem. This combination faxmodem/network interface card (NIC) includes a high-performance 10BASE-T Ethernet adapter, a 33,600 bps V.34 modem, and a 14,400 bps send/receive fax device in a single PCMCIA card.
Zoom's PC Card LAN/FaxModem can be used for "wired" landline and wireless cellular fax and data communications as well as high-performance 16-bit Ethernet connectivity. It can be used with a notebook, palmtop, PDA, or any computer with a compatible PCMCIA slot. The Zoom PC Card LAN/FaxModem plugs directly into a 10BASE-T LAN and a telephone jack for concurrent LAN and WAN communications.

Bundled software with the PC-Card LAN/FaxModem includes ODI and NDIS (2,3) drivers, WinFax Lite(TM), COMit(TM), and SystemSoft(R) CARDWizard(TM).
The Zoom/PC Card LAN/Faxmodem is protected by ZoomGuard(TM) against damage from lightning, the number one cause of modem failure. It includes flash memory for easy upgrades, and low-power circuitry to conserve battery life.
Zoom is a major supplier of PC-card faxmodems. Zoom's V.34C PC Card faxmodem has been voted a "Best Buy" by PC World magazine for eight straight months. Zoom's PC card products are available through dealers, VARs, and national distributors including Ingram Micro, Tech Data, and MicroAge. The suggested retail price of the Zoom/PC Card LAN/FaxModem is $399.
