Teledyne Water Pik names new vice president

FORT COLLINS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 1997--Teledyne Water Pik, the creators of the Water Pik(R) Oral Irrigator and Original Shower Massage, announced today the hiring of Jonathan Clark as vice president, marketing and sales.

Clark, formerly with The Black & Decker Corp., will be responsible for overseeing all areas of sales, marketing, advertising and public relations, including existing and new products, for the Colorado-based company.

While at Black & Decker, Clark established a strong track record in progressive and strategic product marketing in North America and abroad. Clark held several key positions with Black & Decker, most recently serving as director of marketing, industry and construction products, responsible for all sales and marketing activities for power tool accessories. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, new product development, multiple-brand management and acquisition/joint venture negotiations. Clark has led the business management in diverse distribution channels across 16 countries worldwide.
